Last August 3rd, the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food published in the Official State Gazette the results of the "Foods of Spain Best Cheeses" Award 2023. The winner in the absolute category of the Best Spanish Cheese Award 2023 was the cheese "Don Apolonio Añejo Reserva", from Quesos Don Apolonio, SL, from Malagón (Ciudad Real), an artisan sheep's milk cheese with an intense flavour and a delicious aroma as a result of its long maturation (10 months). |
