The prestigious Guida dei Salumi project, based in Reggio Emilia (Italy), has awarded the 2023 Best Cured Meat in Europe Award to the «Reserva de la Familia Can Company» sobrasada, made by master charcuterie maker Xesc Reina with Mallorcan black pig (Porc Negre), salt, black pepper and a local paprika called Tap de Cortí that was on the verge of disappearing just over 10 years ago.
