Good meat, badly preserved

Mixed feelings with this jamón. As other reviews say it has quite some fat on the outer layers but not mixed with the meat, on the other hand this is understandable due to it being a "cebo campo".
The taste of the meat on the other hand was pretty good due to its 50% iberico, with some sweet touches that made it quite tasty. Unfortunately the jamón had MANY areas that where extremely dry which couldn't be enjoyed for direct eating and one can only try to make "croquetas" or put it into "stews". I don't know if that is due to the COVID and trying to get rid of old stock or if it is a normal practice, but it greatly affects the experience (difficult to cut, difficult to chew, rancid taste of dried parts, etc).

Jamon Altanza Cebo Campo "Paleta" Iberico Shoulder Ham

First time buying at Ibergour, really happy overall. The product was good and the delivery was faster than expected and carefully packed. The Iberico shoulder ham is really tasty although slightly saltier than I would have liked it.

E' sicuramente un buon prodotto. Gusto intenso con il grasso laterale che si scioglie a temperatura ambiente e dona ad ogni fetta un sapore squisito.
Rispetto ad un bellota e' piu' salato, ma rappresenta una valida scelta se si vuol spendere un po' meno, cercando un buon rapporto qualita'/prezzo.

It is certainly a good product. Intense taste with side fat that melts at room temperature and gives each slice an exquisite flavor. Compared to a bellota and 'more' salty, but is a good choice if you want to spend a little 'less, looking for a good quality / price ratio.
